"eye of horus collage" Made using pieces of another painting titled "calm", (pictured to the right) this painting explores the technique of using texture as brush stroke. the eye of horus, comes from an ancient heiroglyph. nowadays better known as "the all seeing eye" - this symbol is believed to be one of protection and healing. In the spirit of da-da art, or art that makes itself, this particular eye of horus has tears pouring from one side of it - as a result of brush cleaning happening in its vicinity.
