"ankh piece"
"ankh piece" Painted in 2005, the ankh piece was one of my very first paintings. This painting shows our light side, our side of good and of God, standing - facing our shadow side, our side, of downfall and shortcoming. In the middle --- the ankh - a symbol of life and completion, and looking out through that a figure facing forward and at the viewer. this -- the face we show the world, the face that we live once our inner struggles come out through through lifes experiences. this piece asks us- what face do you show in this life?
